Game night.
On every screen and every wall.

Bakken Bears is the basketball club from Aarhus. For the home game against Svendborg Rabbits we designed the match poster and turned it into a full campaign: display banners, social stories, a countdown on social, a bus shelter poster, a roll-up, the ticket and the LED board around the court.

The starting point

One match, one message, everywhere.

The match poster already had everything: the two clubs, the date, the hall, where to buy tickets and the sponsors. We kept that message and built a system around it, so every format feels like the same night, whether it is 100 pixels tall or two metres.

What every format keeps

  1. 01The two club badges with VS. between them
  2. 02Date and time: 28 February at 18.30
  3. 03Vejlby-Risskov Hallen
  4. 04The orange ticket button
  5. 05Match sponsor and main sponsors where there is room

The poster

The photo, the tear and the matchup.

The player takes the top half. A torn edge separates the photo from the paper, and the two badges sit across it with VS. in the middle. Below, the facts come in the order fans look for them: when, where and how to get a ticket.

Display

Five banner sizes, the same entrance.

Every banner opens the same way: the photo zooms in, the badges slide in from each side and VS. lands in the middle. Then the date, the hall and the ticket button, which keeps a small pulse.

In context

On the sports site, desktop and mobile.

The leaderboard and the half page on a regional sports site. On the phone, the medium rectangle sits in the article and the mobile banner at the bottom of the screen.

Social

A story in three beats, and a countdown.

The story goes from the arena to the matchup to the date and a ticket button. In the feed, one post a day counts down to tip-off: three days, two days, one day, match day.

In the hall

Courtside and at the entrance.

The same line runs on the LED board around the court at the home games in the run-up, and the poster is scaled up to an 85 × 200 cm roll-up for the entrance and the fan shop.

In the city

At the bus stop and in the hand.

The poster in a bus shelter in Aarhus, and the ticket fans hold in their hand on the night, with the same photo, badges and date.

What we delivered

One campaign, twelve formats.

  1. 01Match poster for print
  2. 02Bus shelter poster and 85 × 200 cm roll-up
  3. 03Ticket with tear-off stub
  4. 04Animated display banners in five sizes
  5. 05Social story and countdown posts
  6. 06Perimeter LED board loop
