GLS integration in a webshop and operations system
A GLS integration means your packing bench prints GLS labels from the same order sales just approved — and the customer gets a tracking link without copy-paste. Typical flow: the customer picks GLS ParcelShop or business, you validate weight and size before you promise a price, the label prints on “packed”, tracking is written on the order and in the mail, return label as a separate action. The trap is GLS prices in checkout that do not match the deal you actually have. Show an estimate, or fetch the price from the agreement. Guesses cost support. GLS and [PostNord](/articles/integrations/postnord-integration) in the same checkout need either two direct integrations or one hub.
GLS is often the pick when the customer already collects from a ParcelShop closer than PostNord. It is a delivery choice — not a religion. Payments and checkout.

FAQ: GLS integration
GLS + PostNord in the same checkout?
Yes. Either two direct integrations or one hub (Shipmondo).
May we guess the shipping price?
You may show an estimate if you say it is an estimate. A number that looks like a contract price but is not creates tickets.
Business and ParcelShop in the same flow?
Yes, but validate address and opening hours differently. A business address is not a shop id.
When do we print a return label?
When the customer asks for a return — not as the default on the outbound shipment. Otherwise two labels sit in the box.
