PostNord integration: labels, tracking and parcel shops
A PostNord integration means your system creates the shipment, fetches the label and shows tracking when the order is packed. In Denmark PostNord is still the default for many B2C and B2B parcels. The customer expects a parcel shop and a tracking number in the same mail as the receipt. You typically build parcel-shop search at checkout, booking when status is “packed”, a PDF label for the warehouse printer and status back on the order. Direct PostNord if you only use PostNord. [Shipmondo](/articles/integrations/shipmondo-integration) if you also have GLS, DAO and Bring and want one label flow.
Service firms send spare parts and contracts the same way. You do not need a webshop. PostNord as a service.

Shipmondo or direct PostNord?
Direct PostNord
- You only use PostNord
- You want to avoid an extra subscription
- A special business deal a hub covers poorly
PostNord is one integration in the Small package: DKK 18,000 + DKK 600/month. Two carriers direct is two integrations. A hub is one. See pricing.
Write whether you only ship with PostNord, or whether the warehouse already switches to GLS on Fridays. Then we pick a direct API or a hub before the first line of code. Quote within 24 hours.
FAQ: PostNord integration
Does it work without a webshop?
Yes. Service firms send spare parts and contracts the same way.
Should we book at purchase or at packing?
At packing. Otherwise you pay for shipments you cancel when the item is on backorder.
Can we show parcel shops at checkout?
Yes. Postcode in, nearest shop out. Store the shop id on the order so the label hits the right place.
What about returns?
Return labels as a separate action, not as the default on every shipment. Otherwise the warehouse prints the wrong slip.
